(Pic) Melody Haze using a mic at Central City Recording Studio
I’ve been reading a number of blogs for the three years that I’ve been a photographer for hire. One blog is that of Chase Jarvis. He bloggeed specifically about a Ninja shoot that he funded for his own work. While his shoot cost a reported $5,000, I thought I could do something on a much lower scale, but produce the best images I’ve taken to date.
The model here is Melody Haze. I found her via Model Mayhem, a modeling and photography website that connects photographers with models.
This shot was one I’d conceived of since I first saw the glass-block window window at Central City Recording over 6 months ago. The lighting was done with the natural light coming in and a white bounce card for filling the opposite side of her face.
