Frank Tuttle, owner of Tuttle Images, has been a photographer since he was 13, when he and his father started exploring light with black & white photography and developing their own film in the basement darkroom.
Black & white film evolved into shooting underwater photos using E6 slide film (which can easily be developed at home). Frank spent 10+ years photographing underwater life and objects. In 1992, Frank had a Columbus, OH Short North Gallery Hop showing of his underwater work. Fast-forward in time, and Frank now spends his creative time above water, creating images with people as the focus. In 2010, Frank had another Gallery Hop showing in the Short North of his landscape and macro photo work.
Frank has a background in science education (20+ years as an educator) and has developed the skill and expertise in video production. He enjoys playing with his two collies and spending time traveling with his wife and sons.

read moreLandscape photography is a special area of photography that I really enjoy. Recently, I was able to go to Jackson Hole, WY and visit some iconic landscape areas. One of them, the Moulton Barn on Mormon Row, was an absolute “must” on my shoot list. I find that having a goal in mind for my photography really helps with the planning and execution of the final images. A second photo I really wanted was Oxbow Bend (which looks like a lake, but is really a bend in the Snake River). The last place I visited specifically I found out from...

His book gives the time, lens recommendation, and directions on how to reach the iconic locations around Grand Teton National Park and does so with the insight of someone who really knows photography.
